A king bed faces walls of glass where light ripples and silver fish cross in slow procession — the living theatre of the Oceanarium, close enough to touch and impossible to look away from. There is no horizon here, only the blue, unfolding on one sides while the world above and its urgency dissolve. Intimate by design at just under forty square metres, the Underwater Corner trades scale for something rarer: the sensation of resting inside the sea, wrapped on one side by the oceanarium. To wake here is to see Boracay from a vantage almost no one has — not from the sand looking out, but from within the sea looking up.

The Underwater Corner is a suite set below the waterline where the marine world wraps around one wall of glass. It is part of I’Msignia’s collection of seventy underwater rooms and suites — the world’s largest.
The suite is just under forty square metres (38.45 sqm). Intimate by design, it trades scale for something rarer — the sensation of resting inside the sea, with the ocean arriving from two directions at once.
Up to three guests — two adults and one child. A baby cot or rollaway bed is available on request.
The underwater viewing windows look into the living marine habitats of the Ocean Experience. Light ripples and shifts across the room throughout the day, and marine life — schools of fish, rays, and other species — drifts past in slow procession. The view is living, constantly changing, and entirely unlike anything you will find at any other resort.
The suite is located on the basement level, below the waterline, and is built to rigorous structural and safety standards. The viewing windows are engineered to withstand the water pressure at depth. The room includes a smoke detector, sprinkler system, fire evacuation plan, emergency lighting, and a door viewer with deadbolt.
No. Because the suite is set beneath the waterline, there is no balcony or outdoor terrace. The marine view through two walls of glass takes the place of a conventional outlook — the ocean itself becomes the room’s defining feature.
There are only fifteen Underwater Corner suites across the entire property, making it one of the more limited room categories at I’Msignia.
All underwater rooms are located on the basement level, beneath the waterline, in Block A.
Yes. The intimate scale, king bed, and the experience of falling asleep with the ocean on two sides make the Underwater Corner a memorable choice for couples. For a stay specifically designed around a honeymoon or celebration, the Underwater Honeymoon suite is also available.
Yes. The suite accommodates one child in addition to two adults. However, parents should be comfortable with the underwater setting and ensure children are supervised at all times given the unique environment.
